Heart to Heart Makes a Difference

Truly Fabulous Event!

Thank you so much for hosting such a beautiful luncheon for our 29 Palms military ladies. It was a truly fabulous event!

I enjoyed myself tremendously and everything from the speaker, decorations, gifts, food, hostesses, fashion show and so much more was perfect and so memorable.

We truly felt special & appreciated. I thank you for all your hard work, time, sacrifice and efforts on our behalf. It was wonderful to be pampered and showered with love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Danika

The Time and Effort Committed to this Event are Evident

Dear Nancy,
It takes a very special lady to do what you do. Thank you so much for honoring military spouses and active duty women at the Heart to Heart luncheon.

The music, fashion show, guest speaker, delectable meal and the door prizes were incredible. The time and effort committed to this event are evident in it’s execution.

Lewis and I are humbled by the hand painted “Salutes”. They will always remind us of the gracious hospitality of the Heart to Heart planning team, hostesses, escorts, organization and founders. Thank you.

Warmly,
Laurie Craparotta

We're Not Alone Anymore

Beautiful Ladies-
I wanted to send a note of gratitude for the beautiful luncheon that Heart to Heart put on the past weekend. It was simply amazing to be recognized. I slipped in under the radar, as my husband was medically retired last week after 16 years of service, and by yesterday I not longer fit in the billet of “active duty spouse”. I went in support of a friend who would never otherwise attend and I can safely assure you that the time was a God-ordained appointment for me.

I wanted to thank you for every part of yesterday, but especially for the moment you brought the women from Guide Dogs up to the stage. I was fortunate to meet her later in the bathroom and was able to discuss a service dog for my husband. After his 16 years of service and 8 combat deployments, even “I” and sometimes surprised by the experiences he can not tolerate on his own, due to PTSD and TBI. Last night after I returned home, for instance, he had to ask me how to write out a check - something I might expect a 90 year old man to have problems with, but certainly not my 35 year old husband. I was given a business card and contact information for a trainer at Guide Dogs that works with PTSD service dogs and am hopeful that contacting him may continue to direct our path and allow my husband some more joy and freedom around these frustrating diagnoses.

I don’t mean to ramble. I simply wanted y’all to know that what you do MAKES A DIFFERENCE. We live most of our days being taken advantage of, crying ourselves to sleep from loneliness, and truly believing no civilian would ever care - yesterday proved to me that’s not true.

Blessings,
Megan
